Our mission is to build interest in the sport of sand drag racing and to tell a tale of two big kids playing with their "toys" in the sand. During my years of off-roading in California at the Oceano Dunes State Vehicular Recreation Area, I have heard many stories of how big sand drag racing used to be. The stories all started with "I remember when. . ." and were told over and over.

The past is remembered fondly; however today, many engine and suspension high performance parts have come within the budget of nearly anyone with an interest in the sport. And because almost anyone can participate, sand drag racing can regain its former stature and esteem as a motor sport.

Hopefully, we can inspire you to share and enjoy the excitement and competition of drag racing in the sand. Come out to the races so that you too can tell new stories to go with those "I remember when" tales.
